#21 Minds & Machines: 5 ways to write better with AI tools | Will it be Zoom or a log?
Plus, two firsts from me.
I got my paints out. Yes! See the final version and my new Nature of Business offering here.
Happy new year.
I hope you managed to find a bit of time to rest over the holidays.
I’m not going to lie, I enjoyed closing my laptop for a week or so – and dancing like a crab on a rock. Ha.
Anywaaaay…
This edition is a bit different.
My newsletter is normally ram-jammed with AI info and takes me about 6-7 hours to write.
This week I’ve spent that time putting my new offerings out into the world. And I’m super excited to share them with you.
However, just so it’s not all me, me, me – I’m also sharing 5 ways to write better with AI tools. Enjoy.
My first AI offering for individuals
Until now, my own AI training has always been bespoke.
I’ve worked with teams from a whole range of sectors, helping them to bring AI into their content creation workflows.
I love doing this – and it’s still my core offering.
But I also want to support individuals too. I think freelancers and solopreneurs are really under-served when it comes to quality AI training.
Yeah, there’s pre-recorded courses (often outdated). But I want to be there live. AI is moving fast, people deserve up-to-date info – and questions/conversations are important.
So, here’s my first offering. It’s designed specifically for small business copy/content writers, freelancers and solopreneurs who want to use AI thoughtfully.
AI the Write Way
Online Thu 27 Feb | 9.30 am - 1 pm
A practical live course on adopting AI as a writing sidekick while preserving your values and voice.
You’ll leave with:
Strategies to ensure your copywriting never sounds like ChatGPT (or the beige AI-generated copy that’s flooding the web).
A deeper understanding of today’s key AI tools for small businesses.
Knowledge on how to use AI for research, structuring, writing + editing.
A toolkit of useful prompts + prompting methodologies.
Tools to free up your time, so you can concentrate on crafting (and doing more of the stuff you love in your business).
An understanding of ethical issues, key considerations and how to use AI thoughtfully.
Connections with small business content writers on the same journey. (Us writers need a bit of support right now – or is that just me?)
EARLY BIRD OFFER – £25 off until the end of Jan. Use EARLY25 at the checkout.
💛 The human antidote

If AI has taught me anything over the last 6 years, it’s the wonder of being human. Our craft, our creativity, our intuitive bodies, wild minds – and deep connection to nature.
For the last two years, I’ve been running women’s circles in the woods at the turn of each season. They have been joyous.
This year, I wanted to do something slightly different. To go on a journey with the same women for a whole year.
To gather at each turn of the Wheel of the Year, so we can uncover what nature might teach us about ourselves and our businesses.
Dreamers, creatives and wild founders: this is for you…
The Nature of Business
A seasonal adventure for women founders and leaders who want to do business in a wilder way.

Ever wondered what it would be like to align your business more closely with the seasons?
At each turn of the Wheel of the Year, we’ll come together to reflect on our businesses. We’ll draw lessons from nature, celebrate our successes, gently get unstuck – and set meaningful intentions for the new cycle ahead.
This is about unplugging, connecting with fellow humans and coming back to what really matters. With the help of tea, cake and a pen.
There’s an offline and online offering, so you can join the journey from anywhere.
